With more than thousand solo and group performances to her credit, Mallika moved to US in 2001. She continued to focus on Kuchipudi classical dance through performances, teaching and Education.

Mallika is deeply humbled and thankful to be given an opportunity to not only perform but also speak at prestigious institutions like the White house, Maryland Governors Office, Library of Congress,  Arthur M. Sackler Galleries of Smithsonian Institution, Social Security Administration, Department of Labor, Foreign Service Institute of the State Department, University of Maryland, American University, and Virginia Tech.  She received several laurels and appreciation awards from these premier institutions.
